The Meaning of the Term STEM
We often hear that a game belongs to the STEM category. But what is STEM and what are the benefits of these games, we will see it in detail below.
The term STEM was created from the initials of the words Science (science) – Technology (technology) – Engineering (engineering) – Math (mathematics). Games designated as STEM must belong to one or more of the above categories. Basically, any game that teaches or develops relevant skills with these sciences, is classified as a STEM game.
More and more parents and teachers around the world, use STEM games to greatly enhance children's education in a fun way. When children have fun, they usually do not even realize that they are learning!

Science Games (science)

Math Games (mathematics)
This is the category with the largest overlap. As we said at the beginning a game, may belong to more than one subcategory of the STEM class. For example an assembly set, is directly related to numbering, addition or subtraction. It is the introduction to mathematical concepts and develops children's skills in mathematics.
